Chapter 53 The Next Realm

I returned to my parents. We hugged each other tightly. My parents always loved me and I knew that. The return of my emotions made me really appreciate how much I loved them.

"I wish we will always have fun together." I kept it in my heart.

Upon entering another room, there was a Warlord Ranked Wolf.

"Who dares to enter my Domain?" The wolf growled.

"We are here for Family Advancement. I dare say we will win." I proclaimed.

I had fought this type of wolf once before. It usually keeps to itself before attacking. The biggest advantage we had is gone. That did not mean I could not win.

I would easily unlock my full strength and use it to completely kill the wolf. Even for five minutes, it would be left in a bleeding state. I would get exhausted but I would be able to finish it.

"How courageous." The wolf remarked.

"What is the challenge?" I asked.

The wolf did not answer. This made me feel even worse.

"Your challenge is to climb to the highest step you can. If you pass the test, you three will advance. If you fail, I will eat your souls."

The wolf licked his lips.

"I accept the challenge."

"Get climbing then."

I started the climb. The first step was not a burden at all.

"This will become extremely bad!" I cried inwardly.

The next step I felt was the entire burden of carrying everyone. I remember this pressure. It was so bad last time, I nearly died after the fourth step. I passed simply because the girls had used money to advance in realms.

I went to step three. The pressure greatly increased. I did not know what this Qi was but it hurt.

"This Qi is the Heavenly Qi of torture. It makes people feel extremely exhausted and there is no way I can keep this Qi away from you. I am sorry Rex." The Spider Queen had a saddened voice.

I smiled and went to step four. The pressure increased again. This time it nearly broke my arms and legs.

"I WON'T GIVE IN!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

Baby Wyvern woke up in my Soul and roared.

The Warlord Ranked Wolf stared at me. Even he felt afraid of Baby Wyvern in my Soul.

I took step five and the pressure was released. I felt relieved and cultivated.

"He is such a good boy." The Spider Queen thought.

"Egg!" Baby Wyvern cried.

The Spider Queen looked at Baby Wyvern and had eyes bigger than the Sun. She had heard of baby dragons and wyverns making eggs to rebirth themselves. It mainly would be for Dragonborns but even the strongest Dragons and Wyverns had gone through the rebirth.

"Rex you are an extremely lucky person." The Spider Queen said.

Spider Queen wrapped Baby Wyvern in her webbing and it formed an egg. Spider Queen then raised her up in her little spot.

Once I cultivated for an hour. I got up and went to step six and got sent back to the bottom.

That really sucked because that means we never even took a step. I really don't appreciate the fact that I got sent back.

I got up and the wolf growled.

"What mutt?" I was extremely angry.

"You passed. Reaching step Six means you are qualified to enter the Third Realm. You can choose to enter the second or go straight into the Third. One cannot enter two realms higher than what he or she would handle." The Wolf growled.

"I want to see how high I can climb."

The Wolf stared at me. A huge howl came from him. It was nerve racking to say the least.

"You shall have a chance to climb in the Second Realm if you chose to enter there. Remember if you decide to climb to the highest point. You will eventually have to enter a Realm higher than Fourth." The Wolf growled.

"With my Goddesses blessings is there no way for me to just see how high I can climb?"

The Wolf stared at me. He finally gave a sigh. I heard something that seemed suspicious but I could not make out everything I heard.

A pillar of light came upon us. It had a warm feeling, but at the same time it also made me feel uncomfortable.

In front of me were two paths. One leads to the Third Realm and the other to the Second Realm.

"Well, I guess to the Second Realm I go. I really don't want to enter the Third Realm yet. That was a disaster."

I walked and appeared in the city of Lumi in the Second Realm. Across the realms, for the people of Earth or people who had been to Earth saw these messages.

"Congratulations to Fujiwara Rex for completing the very first Family Advancement."

"Family Advancement will now be unlocked for the higher Realms."

"One can do a Family Advancement for people close to him or her if they paid money to advance in realms."

"Family Advancement will become easier for the cultivators in certain Realms."

Seeing the notifications, I was extremely glad. Yeah, we were not the first to ascend to the Second Realm but gaining the first in Family Advancement is huge.

I looked for my parents and could not find them. I was worried.

I could feel something eating at my Soul. I could not tell what it was. I sat in a lotus position and entered my Soul.

What I saw was a Demon. The black figure had become a full blown Demon.

"Who are you?"

"I am the guardian of Demonic Qi. Until you become a full fledged Demon. I will eat at your Soul each time you enter a new Realm."

The Demon had a mysterious smile. I was not going to take that answer.

"How do I get rid of you?"

"Here in the Second Realm there is a way. You must find it on your own."

I exited my Soul.

I got up and walked to the school. There were plenty of extremely good looking girls. They all wanted money or privileges. No one would look at me.

I remember a teacher here that specializes in training new cultivators in the Second Realm.

I walked and found the massive school. If a palace was meant for a King. This school was meant to be for multiple Kings.

Thousands upon thousands of teachers, students, rogue cultivators, elderly people, and people who can barely make it all live here. Each person has a roll to fill. Even if it meant you clean only the classroom's walls and floor and someone else had to clean the desks.

This was about to become a great school time.
