Chapter 28 Hearing things

Rex's parents moved to their bedroom. It was not long before moaning was heard by Violet. Violet knew what was going on but had no idea why they did that now.

"This is so cruel."

The moaning lasted all night. There were slight pauses which made Violet happy but it continued shortly after.

The next morning, Rex's mother had a magnificent glow on her. If you compared it to Rex when he left the Godly Realm, it was on par. Violet did not want to see the glow. She has seen enough of it from Rex.

"We need to wait for Rex to wake up though." Violet thought.

Rex's father came down. He sat down on the couch and called Violet over.

"Once we have ascended to the Second Realm. We will cultivate on our own. Even though we had vacation in our jobs for these couple of days. We cannot do much unless we get off on weekends. Sometimes we cannot do that."

Hearing what Rex's father said. Violet felt conflicted because she wanted them to continue with them.

"I will explain it to the other girls." Violet said depressed.

"Do not worry. We will do our best to catch up but we do have the things we need to do." Rex's mother said with a brighter glow.

"Ugh the glow."

Rex's father smiled. Now he knew that everything would be better. Even if it was not for long, he wanted everyone to get along better and hopefully get married.

The rest of the day went smoothly until Rex woke up and everyone else came storming in the living room.

In the morning

Watching Rex all night, Margaret and Amber went to sleep. Iris and Liz entered the room that Rex was in.

"His sleeping posture is wonderful." Iris said.

"His face looks absolutely amazing. I just want to sink my lips into his." Liz said.

The two started to bicker at each other.

It was not very long before Rex was awake hearing the argument.

"Please stop arguing. I'm not feeling very well." Rex pleaded several times.

Finally hearing him, Iris and Liz both jumped on the bed.

"Your voice is like heaven opened up Rex." Iris said.

"We can make our own noises now Rex." Liz said.

Iris made a singular water ball behind her. It was the size of a baseball but it had the power to completely flood everything in its path.

Liz made a dual fireball. It was two small fireballs combined to make one. It then began to spin faster, the faster it spun. The greater the fire would spread from its detonation.

"If you want to fight at least go somewhere in the Ninth Realm where the destruction will not matter." Rex said.

Iris and Liz both felt that their hearts had been struck hard. Rex decides to allow them to fight but not near him. That is honestly the last thing they want.

"Please allow us to fight here. I want you to see the power of Water Cultivation." Iris said.

"Shall I go on ahead and destroy some land so we can fight here?" Liz's eyes glowed red.

Iris noticed that Liz was ready to let everything out. Iris too made her eyes glow blue. Now that everything for them was ready. They honestly wanted nothing more than to duke it out in front of Rex.

"Margaret please help." Rex said in a low voice.

Margaret barely heard Rex. When Rex spoke again Margaret woke up Amber.

The two of them entered Rex's bedroom and noticed the temperature constantly changing. The two of them understood that Rex could not handle them in his current situation.

"Mistress please stop this madness before we call your father." Margaret asked.

"Do not make me call your father." Amber said.

Iris and Liz did not hear what was being said. They were more focused on the fight they were about to do.

A knock at the door stops the duo from utterly fighting in the inn.

The spirit girl enters and lays on top of Rex.

Seeing the spirit girl, Iris and Liz both flared back up.

"Calm yourselves. She is my friend." Rex tried to command them.

Margaret and Amber heard Rex but Iris and Liz did not. They went and slapped their mistresses.

Hearing the sound of slapping both Iris and Liz felt their cheeks start to hurt.

Turning their heads, each of them saw their subordinate saddened. The girls then wanted to beat their subordinates.

"Why?" Iris's eyes glowed a deep blue.

Behind Iris was several water balls. Each one compares to the power of a Nuclear bomb.

"Explain yourself." Liz's eyes glowed extremely bright red.

Behind Liz was a singular fireball. Its power could rival all of Iris's water balls together.

"You have not been listening to Rex." Both Margaret and Amber said.

Iris and Liz both stopped and looked at Rex. Seeing how he barely got Margaret's and Amber's attention. He had the saddest frown that Iris and Liz had ever seen.

"I am sorry." Iris's eyes still were in their deep blue state.

"I hope you do not hate me for this." Liz's eyes slowly began to lose their color while speaking.

"Now that we can speak. I need some more rest. Do what you want somewhere else but here just let me rest." Rex said and closed his eyes.

Iris was on Rex's left and cuddled with him. Liz on his right also cuddled with him.

Margaret and Amber both felt headaches coming from the girls.

A few hours later, Rex woke up and felt much better.

"Now time to," Rex tried moving his arms.

Both Iris and Liz had each gotten their arm from Rex and used it to wrap themselves in Rex's brace.

Rex just continued to lay down. Margaret and Amber had both reentered their bedroom and slept.

Even though they could stay up for long periods of time. Dealing with Iris and Liz was like dealing with Nuclear bombs that wanted to explode in your face.

So because of that Margaret and Amber both rested when they could.
