Chapter 9 Understanding the Nine Mortal Realms and First Hea

Mira and Mera returned, once they did they saw Rex looking at his system. They were impressed by his stance to look at himself before he returned to the Mortal Realm.

They quietly came behind him and saw the status.

Strength (Str) 100,000 (sealed until the Fourth Mortal Realm) 5,500 in the First Realm

Soul Defense (SD) 2,500 (You acquired Soul Defense through learning Soul Arts)

Weapon Proficiency (WP) (Ranges from Low, Mid High in the Mortal Realm)

Axe: 75% percent High Mastery

Sword: 2% percent Low Mastery

Spear: 2% percent Low Mastery

Seeing the basic stats, Rex knew that there would be more but since he came from the First Mortal Realm. His stats would show only this.

Mera gently tapped on Rex's shoulder. This startled Rex.

"Damn and here I thought they were trying to do something." I thought.

Looking up at them, I decided to go on ahead and get my weapon and clothing. They nodded in agreement.

I decided to choose the Twin Scale Mera Blessed Swords.

Here are their stats:

Str: 4,990 increases with each Realm

SD: Cannot be destroyed

WP: To use one blade Mera must have blessed the individual first

One must have 10% in Low Mastery to use dual blades

Soul Art Weapons

Wooded Spear (Blessed by Mira in her Heavenly Realm travels)

Thunder Axe (Blessed by Mera in her Heavenly Realm travels)

Seeing the weapons I had gotten, Mera and Mira were both extremely pleased. Finally I had to choose my clothing.

I decided to go with one that Mira had blessed since I had gotten Mera's blessed swords.

Here is the robe I got:

Heavenly Robe Mira Blessed Cloak

Str: 100 decreases while in the Heavenly Realm

SD: Cannot be destroyed

Clothing Durability: While in battle will take 75% of your damage in the Mortal Realm, will go into inventory after 1,000,000 damage received to the cloak in a single Realm

Clothing recharge: takes a full day to completely recharge (note cannot be touched even in inventory while in recharge. make sure to keep an extra robe by you)

Seeing how happy I was with the choices. Mira and Mera were both extremely happy.

"Well, now since you have achieved the basics in what you need. We will now explain the Realms." Mira said.

I gently sat back down and put my full attention to them. Seeing how much attention I was putting in. They were happy they blessed me.

"Alright first to explain the First Realm. Since you were a body cultivator, you know that it is the starting point of cultivating. One must get a piece of their Core that will determine what their Dantian will be in the Second Realm." Mira explained.

I nodded in agreement.

"Now to explain the Second Realm. Since you have your complete Core, it does not matter to explain. I shall do it anyways. With the piece you get in the First Realm, you find other pieces to match what your Core is. Once you have finished your Core. You cultivate with it, to start your Dantian." Mera explained.

I nodded again in agreement.

"In the Third Realm, you finish your Dantian creation first. Second, using the Arts you have chosen for your Dantian. You must successfully master two skills at Mid Proficiency. Once you have, one must get to the top 50 of any tournament using your skills. Only then can one advance to the next Realm." Mera continued before letting Mira talk.

I felt a huge increase of stress just hearing how hard it was to pass the Third Realm. Even though I had done it while being a body cultivator. The advancement was only half strict.

Knowing I was in deep thought, the goddesses took a moment to reclaim their cool before continuing.

"In the Fourth Realm, like you know. There are countless wars going on. We know you stopped all of them yourself. Which is why we changed history. Now in the Fourth Realm, you must achieve a certain degree of honor. There are War portals that would lead to the past. One can choose either side to join. In that war, if the person does not achieve the amount of honor. He is disqualified. Then he/she will attempt another one until all attempts have failed. If the total honor is less than a certain percent in each one. The user will have to wait until the portals accept that person's challenge." Mira explained.

I took a deep breath, knowing that I no longer have to put my guardians in danger in the Fourth Realm. I had a sense of joy but also a sense of dread. I know what I want to do. I will achieve it no matter the cost.

"Now then finally to the Fifth Realm. Here one must fight against a horde of thousands of monsters and win. Then you will be able to advance. There is a second way, to form a Tamer's party. In which a cultivator makes a Carrier Beast its cultivation pet." Mera explained.

I began to wonder about the taming part of cultivation. I had always heard everyone had either a body cultivator and tamer or Qi cultivator and tamer. I now had more questions than answers.

"Your system will guide you when that time comes." Mera winked at me.

I set aside my questions and continued to listen.

"The Sixth Realm is a special Realm. It is where the Nature Sect is located. They set the rules for each and every cultivator that goes there for advancement." Mira bowed.

I remembered that from when I went there with Violet. Man, that was scary. I felt like never ending Death was all round me.

"The Seventh Realm is something that affects each one differently. Some say they feel at peace, while others feel like death is residing with them, and finally the ones like yourself that will feel nothing. Simply because you cultivate Heavenly Qi. That Realm is the reason why your Dantian does not care either way. If someone were to choose to follow the peace you have, with the Dark or Holy Arts, you will end up joining the 'Good' sect. If someone were to follow the death residing in their bodies, they will end up in the 'Bad' Sect." Mera explained.

I could not understand why the Realm was like that. Since I did not want to join either one of those three sects to begin with. I found it interesting to learn how they recruited disciples.

"To understand the Eighth Realm, one must understand that following what you felt and desire in the Seventh Realm. If you chose to follow the 'Good' senses. One would always try to achieve 'Good' things in the Eighth Realm. If one follows their 'Bad' senses, they would try to manipulate, steal, kill, rob, and other ways to follow their 'Bad' senses. If one truly ascended into the Ninth Realm with all 'Good' things. A Saint will come up in the Eighth Realm. The opposite for 'Bad' and that is a Devil sect. Do not be alarmed. For one to achieve either side is extremely tough. So do not worry and even if you do, you already have better blessings than what a Devil sect will get." Mira explained.
