Chapter 7 Getting the system pt2

I went over to a corner and a blue screen appeared before me. I knew that this was the system. I remembered it from when I was originally here.

"Please Master choose a worthy system for yourself"

I did not have the slightest knowledge of choosing a system. So I called Mira over.

"Why is it telling me to choose a system?" I asked.

Mira took a glance at my blue screen and a huge grin appeared on her face.

"It is allowing you to choose because you have been blessed by both of us. Also because of our blessings, you have obtained God Qi. We can help you steer your system to yourself but it is your decision. You may not know because you had to become a body cultivator. Simply building a Dantian does nothing. In this world, you chose the Affinity Route you want to take. You build your Dantian to match it. The previous god in the 3rd Godly Realm made it that way. "

I took a moment to collect my thoughts. Knowing that I will get the single most important decision in this world. I felt fear mostly. I did not want to choose wrong but what if I happened to choose the right one. The one that would actually give me the most powerful, beneficial, a system that upgrades itself, and one that could allow me to obtain rewards far greater than possible.

This is why I really don't like being on the receiving end of good stuff. Not because I do not like it but that I always fear that something better was possible.

Seeing that I was not choosing. The system showed me two more panels.

First panel

"Choose a Normal Route for your Dantian"

A list of every possible affinity appeared before me. Even getting some dual affinities.

I scanned the second one to see.

"Choose a Heavenly Route for your Dantian"

"Choose a Godly Route for your Dantian"

Seeing that I had a possible Godly Route. I began to wonder what routes I could obtain from choosing it.

"Does my host wish to choose the Godly Route for your Dantian?"

Another blue screen appeared.

I was tempted to press no. Mira told me to choose yes.

"Why do I want to choose yes?"

Mire looked at me with an 'You really want me to answer that' look. I called the other goddess over knowing that the one by me was Mira. I called the other Mera.

"I am glad you chose to call me by my name." Mera said.

"What would be the difference between a Heavenly Route Dantian and a Godly Route Dantian?"

I had to get the answer straight because I had no idea. Mira did not want me to know herself.

"We had Heavenly Dantians before becoming Goddesses. Seeing that you do not know. I will give you a slight input. Where the Normal Route has a few dual affinities, a Heavenly Route is always a dual route. There are some trio affinities out there but they usually die before getting any chance to become strong. The Godly Route we do not know. Our Dantians became Godly when we achieved Godhood. Since you already have God Qi it is best for you to choose it."

Hearing the explanation from the Evil Goddess, Mera. Mira decided to explain a little more.

"The Soul Art you were able to use is because you already had Heavenly Qi. Meaning that something is already special within you. Upon getting our blessings some of your Heavenly Qi became God Qi. Though you will still have to travel the Mortal Realm to achieve greatness. You might find even more exciting adventurers than what you had before."

Hearing that both of them were 100% certain of me choosing God Route Dantian. I decided to press my luck and say yes.

"Welcome to the Godly Route for your Dantian"

"Please choose six routes"

"Fire, Water, Lightning, Nature, Yin-Yang Holy, Yin-Yang Dark, Animal Taming, Poison, and Soul Route"

Seeing how the limit was just this. I already had Soul Arts. So I decided to choose that one first.

"Congratulations for choosing the Soul Route"

"All Soul Art damage increases 5% each Realm you successfully advance"

"All Soul Art learning increases 5% for each Realm you successfully learn about"

"All Soul Art defenses increase 2% for each Realm you successfully defend"

"All Soul Art increases your max Heavenly and God Qi 1% for each party member that successfully advances after you"

"Please choose your next Route"

Seeing how I chose something for me I decided to choose some for my guardians

"Congratulations for choosing the Fire Route"

"All Fire affinity damage increases 5% for each party member that has Fire affinity"

"All Fire affinity learning increases 5% for each member in your party that has Fire affinity"

"All Fire affinity resistances increase 2% for each member with Fire affinity"

"Please choose your next Route"

Seeing how it did with Fire. The next one I chose was Water. It had the same stats with Fire affinity.

Seeing how I wanted to also do a little more with my guardians, next I chose Animal Taming.

"All Tamed Animals will have a 5% increase in damage the closer the party is to you"

"All Tamed Animals will have a 4% increase in defense the closer the party is to you"

"All Tamed Animals will have a 5% increase in affinity that belongs to your party"

"Please choose your next Route"

I had already chosen four routes. I was selfish with two of my routes and now I felt guilty. I could not completely get a route for each member.

Then I suddenly saw the Yin-Yang mark on each Holy and Dark. I began to question the goddesses about it.

"Never heard of Animal Taming and Yin-Yang Dantians." Mera said.

Mira took a breath and glanced up. Seeing how she was looking up. I took it she knew something about it but I was not going to make her suffer.

I chose the Yin-Yang Holy Dantian. Upon choosing it the screen also showed the Yin-Yang Dark Dantian also. I thought it was a fluke until I glanced back up and saw I still had one more to choose from.

So I glanced back down on the Yin-Yang Holy and Dark Dantians.

"All increase in curses and blessings by 5% for each member of your party"

"All increase in affinity by 5% for each member in your party with Holy and Dark affinities"

"All increase in defense by 3% for each member of your party with Holy and Dark affinities"

"All Holy and Dark affinity learning increases by 2% for each member in your party"

Seeing how they were the same. I thought that those Routes were busted getting them together. Simply it could boost the affinity to 20% because I had two, Margaret and Amber each had one of them. Man what a steal.

Finally I chose the Nature Route. It was the same with the Fire and Water Routes but still impressive.

Then another blue screen appeared.

"Host has chosen the Godly Route as God of the 3rd Godly Realm. You have successfully been given the base core of a God Qi Dantian for choosing the right Routes."

I was shocked to say the least. Much less how the two goddesses on my back were feeling.

"God Qi Base Core Dantian moved to inventory"

Seeing that I had chosen my Routes. The next thing to do was get dressed and choose my new weapons.
